Our Unbiased Dell Latitude 13 ReviewWhen we first received out brand new Dell Latitude 13 we didn't know what to think and where to start the Dell Latitude 13 review. This is one of the most eye catching notebooks we have ever had the chance to hold and test. Its modern yet elegant design is definitely to our tastes and we feel its users will love it too. Considering its good looks and stylish design, we have purchased the top model, containing their best components to test it and let our readers know what to expect from the Latitude 13. We were also very pleased to find out we received an original copy of the Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit operating system. Wow! Now, let's get on with our Dell Latitude 13 review and share our test results. Like always, we started by testing the CPU (central processing unit) and were amazed to find and Intel Core 2 Duo SU 7300 processor working at a speed of 1.3 GHz, in an L2 cache of 3 MB. The processor also uses the innovative CULV (consume ultra low voltage) technology. After testing the CPU, we found out that it is actually very agile, although not too powerful. It managed to pass all our tests without even a single problem. We were so satisfied with it, we decided to give it 10 out of 10 points in our Dell Latitude 13 review. Next on our list were the memory and hard disk drive. We were happy to find 4 GB of DDR3 random access memory (long for RAM) working at a high speed of 1333 MHz. This is great, but the downside is that it is the maximum capacity supported by this notebook. When it comes to the HDD (hard disk drive), users can pick from 3 types of drives: solid state drive (SSD), 5400 rpm, and 7200 rpm HDDs. We picked the large, 320 GB 7200 rpm hard drive and were happy with its performance. It managed to store all our media files and games and its speed improved the overall performance of the laptop. In our Dell Latitude 13 review, we are happy to give 10 out of 10 points for both RAM and HDD. The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500 MHD integrated video card is good enough to output crisp and sharp graphics on Latitude 13's 13.3 inch HD display with LED backlight technology, at a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768. We are happy to give it 9 out of 10 points because the most recent games do not run on it. All in all, in our Dell Latitude 13 review offers consumers our objective and unbiased opinions about this notebook. We definitely recommend it as a powerful and agile laptop, although the video card is unable to run the latest games.
