Lenovo IdeaCentre B500 - One of the Best PCs Available

We are proud to announce that we have just finished testing the edgy, full throttle, and full HD entertainment Lenovo IdeaCentre B500 all in one personal computer. Although we had to pay $699 for it, we consider it was worth it. First of all, its design is absolutely splendid! We fell in love with its nice lines and elegant curves. A stylish design means a lot and this elegant all in one is one of the most stylish ones we had the chance to test. However, we are aware that most users are more interested in performance than design. This is why we started testing the all in one to see how it fares in our difficult tests. The results surpassed our expectations and we are happy to admit that the Lenovo IdeaCentre B500 is a very good desktop that will please most of its users.

We first started by putting the most important part of the Lenovo IdeaCentre B500 to the test. The graphics processing unit managed to surprise us with its agility. It is represented by an Intel Pentium Dual Core E5400 processor capable of a lot of things due to its high, 2.70 GHz frequency and medium 800 MHz front side bus (FSB). The relatively large, 2 MB L2 cache is good enough to propel the processor through even the most resource intensive of our tests. We are glad to give the CPU 10 out of 10 points for its very good performance.

Next, we were quite happy with the 2 GB of PC3-8500 DDR3 random access memory (RAM). Although we would have expected 4 GB, we really enjoyed the high speed of 1066 MHz and were glad Lenovo IdeaCentre B500's memory behaved so well in our test, since we were able to use all our favorite programs together without stalling. However, we can only give it a 9 out of 10 points here. 9 out of 10 points are received by the 320 GB hard drive as well. Although it spins at a very good speed of 7200 rotations per minute, we feel that its size is not enough to accommodate today's large media files.

We were very happy with Lenovo IdeaCentre B500's NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M graphics processing unit (GPU). It manages to output clear and crisp graphics to an incredible 23 inch HD display featuring its own integrated camera (0.3M) at a resolution of 1920 x 1080, true HD. The video card - display duo receive 10 out of 10 points for the clear and bright HD graphics.

We are proud to announce that we have just finished testing the edgy, full throttle, and full HD entertainment Lenovo IdeaCentre B500 all in one personal computer. Although we had to pay $699 for it, we consider it was worth it.
